When your Union or organization joined the Trades Wallet Community, they assigned you as a Worksite Admin, responsible for reviewing and validating a Tradesperson’s credentials on a job site.
The best way to review a Tradespersons' various cards and safety credentials from within their Trades Wallet, while out in the field, is with the Trades Wallet Field Scanner mobile app.
'Sign In' to the Field Scanner application
To get the most out of your Field Scanner app, you will want to 'Sign In'. There are a few ways you can accomplish this:
(1) Enter Username & Password
- Launch the application from your device.
- Select the 'Sign In' button in the upper right hand corner.
- Manually type in the 'Username' (your email address) and your 'Password' (created upon registration):
- Select the 'Sign In' option.
(2) Scan your Admin QR Code
- Launch the application from your device.
- Select the 'Sign In' button in the upper right hand corner:
- Select the 'Scan Admin QR Code' option:
- You will be presented with the 'camera view'. Hover the camera over your Admin QR code:
(3) Automatic Sign In Link
- Launch the application from your device.
- Select the 'Sign In' button in the upper right hand corner:
- If you’ve forgotten your password, or you can’t locate your Admin QR Code, select the ‘Forgot Password’ link at the bottom left of the screen:
- Populate the Email address associated with your Admin account in the text box provided:
- Next you have a couple of options. If you would like to have your Password Reset, you can select the blue 'Send Password Reset Email'. An Email will be sent to the address specified with instructions on how to reset the password.
- Alternatively, if you are able to access your Email from the same device that you have the app downloaded to, you can instead request Trades Wallet provides you with an automatic link. Select the green 'Send Automatic Sign In Email' button.
Selecting this option will result in an Email containing a link, which you can tap on to be automatically signed into the Field Scanner app with your admin credentials.
Admin PIN
When signing in to the Field Scanner app, you may be asked to provide a 4-digit PIN if one was set up for use with your administrator account.
If you don't know your code, please check your email for the PIN provided by Trades Wallet, or contact your office administrator to have it manually updated.
