Viewing Credentials using the Field Scanner App

The Field Scanner app is an essential tool, used to view and validate a Tradesperson's cards and credentials while out in the field, on a job site. 

'Pre-Qualified' Status

If upon scanning a Trades Wallet, you notice a green banner across the top of the page with the words 'Pre-Qualified', you can be assured that an administrator from your organization has done a thorough review of the credentials within the Wallet and has pre-approved the Tradesperson as compliant for the job they have been assigned within your organization.

View Cards and Credentials

If a Wallet has not been pre-qualified, you should review the various cards and credentials within the Trades Wallet: 

1. Select the 'Cards' tab from the Wallet's main menu. You will be presented with a list of all the current cards associated with that Trades Wallet. 
   
   
2. Tap on a specific 'Card' entry to view it in greater detail. 
   
   
3. You can select the 'image' of the photo to view it in greater detail.
   
   
4. Within the card details page, you should notice a listing of organizations that have previously 'Accepted' the card's authenticity.  You can review this listing, or choose to add a new 'acceptance' specific to your own organization.  

In addition to reviewing a Tradesperson’s Cards and credentials, you may also want to review or capture the results of any skill evaluations a Tradesperson may be required to complete.
