Save Wallet Contents to your Vault
The ‘Vault’ is an online repository that is unique to your Union or organization. Saving the contents of a Trades Wallet to your 'Vault' can be achieved a couple of ways:
Field Scanner App
Each time a Wallet holders 'QR Code' is scanned by an admin from your organization using the 'Field Scanner' app, the contents of the relevant wallet will automatically be captured within your ‘Vault’.
For more information on the 'Vault' via the Field Scanner app, click here.
Self Service App
Wallet holders are in complete control of how much information they share with the Trades Wallet Community.
If a Wallet holder deems the information contained within a relevant entry sensitive, or private, they may choose to 'Mask' these details (i.e. the address listed on your Government Issued ID) OR, they may instead choose to mark the entire Card 'Private'.
If a Wallet holder marks a Card as 'Private' within the Self Service app, that Card will be immediately REMOVED from the main cards listing within the Wallet, but will be captured within the 'Vault' for historical purposes.
What do you mean by 'Private'?
A card that is marked 'Private' within a Wallet is not shared with the Trades Wallet Community unless expressly directed by the Wallet holder.
Wallet Account - Card Tab
Lastly, should you wish to manually save the contents of a relevant Wallet to your Vault, you can do so directly from the Cards Tab of the Wallet Account.
- Search for the Wallet you wish to capture via the Global Search bar:
- Select the relevant entry and click on the 'Cards' tab of the Wallet profile:
- Scroll to the sub-section entitled: The Vault and select the (blue) 'Save to Vault' button:
Access your Vault

NOTE: It is important to note that the information displayed is static, valid only for the date upon which it was captured. - Just like 'Cards' within the 'Cards' tab of the relevant Wallet, you can open the details of each ticket within the 'Vault' entry.
