When a 'Training Request' is fulfilled by the Wallet holder, the request entry should be 'Archived' such that it no longer appears as an outstanding request to the Wallet holder.
There are a number of ways that a 'Training Request' can be completed:
(1) Manually via 'Cards' tab
An administrator can close an existing 'Training Request' entry manually via the 'Cards' tab of the relevant Wallet.
- Navigate to the Wallet you wish to complete a 'Training Request' for.
For more information on how to 'Search for a Wallet', click here. - Select the 'Cards' tab and scroll to the sub-section entitled: 'Training Requests'.
Select the relevant entry from the grid.
Completed Date
Enter the 'Completed' date, then select the 'Update' button.
When updating the 'Completed' date of a 'Training Request', the request will be rendered unavailable to the Wallet holder from within their Self Service profile. However, the entry will remain within the main listing of 'Training Requests' within the 'Cards' tab of the Web Admin Portal.
To remove the request from the listing, 'Archive' the record or 'Remove' it altogether.
Archive 'Toggle'
Alternatively, you can manually 'Archive' the request by toggling the switch such that it is enabled. Remember to select the 'Update' button to apply the change to the request.
Archiving a 'Training Request' will result in the request being removed from both the 'Training' section of the Self Service app and from the main listing within the Web Admin Portal.
The request will be retained for historical purposes, however, and will be indicated with a 'File Box' icon:
You can access previously 'Archived' requests by selecting the 'Archived?' toggle such that it turns green and reads 'Yes'.
(2) Processing a new 'Card' submission
When new 'Cards' are submitted via the mobile Self Service app, those 'Cards' will be available for an administrator to review via the 'Processing Submissions' process.
If the new certification being approved fulfills an existing 'Training Request', an admin has the option to 'Archive' the request directly from the submission by selecting the (green) 'View Existing Wallet' button, then accessing the relevant 'Training Request'.
It is important to note that when associating either a 'Course' or a 'Card Mapping' to the new 'Card' being approved, the relevant 'Training Request' will automatically be 'Archived'. The 'Completed Date' listed will be derived from the 'Issued Date' of the approved 'Card' entry.

(3) Class Completion
When a 'Card' is added to a Wallet via the 'Class Completion' process, any 'Training Requests' associated to the Wallet for the relevant 'Course' will be automatically 'Archived' within the Wallet.

View Archived 'Requested Training'
To view 'Archived' entries, simply select the 'Archived?' toggle switch to the right of the search bar within the 'Requested Training' section. Archived entries will be marked with the following icon:
The completion date will be populated using the date the certification or credential was added to the Wallet.
Remove a 'Training Request'
Should you wish to 'Remove' (or delete) a 'Training Request' simply open the request from within the 'Cards' tab of a relevant Wallet then select the (red) 'Remove' button.
Doing so will result in the 'Training Request' being permanently removed from the system.
