Once you have successfully created a 'Course' within Trades Wallet there are several details that you can further refine.  As with all entries within Trades Wallet, select an entry to view it in detail.

Edit general 'Course' details

Within a ‘Course' definition you should note the fields can be edited or modified to suit the needs of your organization.

Ensure that when making updates, you select the (blue) ‘Update’ button to apply the changes to the entry.

Associate the 'Course' with a 'Card Mapping'

Once you have created a 'Course' within Trades Wallet, you can link the 'Course' to a relevant 'Card Mapping' within the system.  In doing so, any 'Cards' added to a Wallet via the 'Class Completion' processes will automatically be associated to the relevant 'Card Mapping'.

Additionally, linking to two will streamline the processing of submissions via the Web Amin Portal. By selecting a relevant 'Course', the resulting 'Card Mapping' and 'Card Title' will be automatically populated.

Card Template

Within the Trades Wallet Web Admin Portal, an administrator can create a personalized template to be used for cards or certifications relevant to the 'Course' on offer by your organization. 

Once created, a 'Card Template' can be used to print a physical copy of the card or certification earned by the Wallet holder OR the card image can be loaded directly into a Trades Wallet as a 'new' Card via the 'Class Completion' process.

Assigning 'Classes' to your 'Course':

Now that your 'Course' has been successfully tied to a relevant 'Card Mapping', it’s time to associate any current or upcoming 'Classes' scheduled. These classes will be made available to your Wallet holders when reviewing their active 'Training Requests' or when a 'Card' within their Wallet has, or is about to, expire.

Modify 'Cloned Course' Definition(s)

Allow Updates from Source (Cloned Courses)

For cloned 'Course(s)' specifically, you will be presented with a sub-section entitled 'Allow Updates from Source'.

By default, this toggle is enabled. Leaving this enabled will ensure that the 'Course' definition is automatically updated when cloned 'Course' definition(s) from the relevant source are synced.  

Disabling this switch for the specific 'Course' definition will preclude it from being updated when the cloned 'Course' definition(s) from the relevant source are synced.
